Target species: Calopteryx exul (North African endemic), Ischnura saharensis, Ischnura graellsi, Enallagma deserti, Coenagrion caerulescens, Pseudagrion sublacteum, Platycnemis subdilatata (North African endemic), Onychogomphus boudoti (recently discovered Moroccan endemic), Onychogomphus costae, Gomphus simillimus, Paragomphus genei, Cordulegaster princeps (Moroccan endemic), Orthetrum chrysostigma, Orthetrum trinacria, Orthetrum nitidinerve, Trithemis arteriosa, Trithemis kirbyii, Brachythemis impartita and Zygonyx torridus. Quite a mouth-watering line-up.

Route: the itinerary is designed to take in the four North Africa endemic Odonates listed above as well as a good supporting cast of Mediterranean and xeric species.

Accommodation: mostly mid-range but one necessary foray into low-range B&B accommodation as the itinerary dictates.

Cost: tour price £1370 (deposit £150) and single supplement £230. Tribal discounts may occur if you have travelled with us before and we get enough people...

Flight: it is your responsibility to book the flights in-and-out of Marrakech airport (RAK) that are required. You need to be at RAK for an evening pick-up on the 10th June 2017 and fly back out some time on the 17th June. Remember you are advised not to book your flight until the tour is confirmed as a departure.
